Making a Japanese Streetwear Saree

A saree rebuilt through Japanese streetwear: a black utility shirt with buckle straps and stencilled katakana, worn over a hand-lettered, stained cotton drape. The project runs from moodboard and sketches through sewing and stencilling to a street shoot.
